My goal is to set myself apart as a coach, not just a personal trainer, and educate you in nutrition, weight loss, fitness and proper exercise form. I will also educate you on managing sleep and stress by building a program that takes into account not only your goal, but your health history and your lifestyle. I want to empower you with the skills to achieve your physical goals which translates to success in all areas of your life. Because of this holistic approach, I help my clients overcome and avoid obstacles like injury and muscle imbalance while gaining strength and confidence. All of these factors combined will help you achieve your fitness and weight loss goals.
I grew up dancing since age 6, ballet, jazz and point. After age 40 and experiencing pre-menopause hormone fluctuations and weight gain, I discovered resistance training and the transformative effect it had on my physique. This ignited my passion to share the benefits of resistance training- maintaining lean muscle mass, protecting bone health AND increasing metabolic rate. Since being educated and certified as a personal trainer, I have trained a wide range of clients from those wanting to lose weight and get healthy, fit and toned, to aspiring physique competitors and first time marathon runners. As an independent trainer I have worked in weight loss clinics and studio settings, as well as my own private studio.
I apply the same fat loss training and nutrition protocols I have learned as a figure and physique competitor in helping each of my clients with their weight loss and fitness endeavors.
